We start from the World Heritage Site of Kiyomizu Temple in Kyoto’s east, and make our way through the picturesque preserved alleyways on our way up to Gion and onward to Ginkakuji Temple, stopping at a few more temples and gardens along the way!

The suggested itinerary here includes a visit to Fushimi Inari shrine, Kiyomizu Temple, the Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka slopes, Yasaka Shrine in Gion, and Nishiki market; if time permits! We can change it up as you like!
